Album has 16 pages with photos on both sides of each page. Altogether there are approx. 150 photos. The album starts in Wiesbaden in 1940 where this man was in training. The shots in this section are of the city and of the soldier and some of his buddies posing for the camera. There are also a few shots of him in the field during training exercises. This section also contains a nice picture of the soldier in his dress uniform wearing a sports badge. The next section of the album is of Northern France from 1940-1941. The bulk of the album covers this time. Photos in this section were taken mostly while he was on duty. There are photos of the soldier in camp and on the road. A few shots even show him wearing his radio headset. There are some photos of a World War One monument at Chateau Thierry, some group shots and shots of a field radio antenna being set up. Some of the pictures were taken near the French coast at Marlemont while others were taken near Marles Les Mines and Hesdin. Covers are pressed paper and are a little loose but still connected to the album.
