Excellent condition “Ike” jacket made by the B. MAMION & SONS dated September 3, 1948 with a pattern date of May 24, 1946. The size is 36 small. Exterior is in excellent condition with all the buttons present. Each sleeve has Corporal chevrons of green on a dark blue, almost black backing. Left shoulder has Occupation of Austria patch. The right cuff has a Military Unit Citation wreath. Above the left pocket is a ribbon for the Good Conduct medal. Collar discs are “U.S.” and Motor Transport Corps. “U.S.” disc is slightly domed while the Transport disc is a standard WW2 stamped brass style. Interior lining is excellent with both pockets and a New York Quartermaster tag.
This is a great example of a between the wars (WW2 and Korea) Ike jacket in excellent condition.
