The exterior of this helmet is painted a dark green and has several small indentations on the crown. Approx. 65% of the paint remains on the exterior the rest having a nice dark patina. Both of the “lug nut” type air vents are present.

Interior has much of the original paint and a nice liner consisting of the three leather pads with a replaced drawstring. One of the pads has a replaced ear with its companion having been repaired but this was very well done. There is no chinstrap but both of the lugs for attaching the chinstrap are present.

The inside left of the skirt is marked “Si 66.” This helmet was made by Eisenhüttenwerk Schlesien and is a size 66.  [ad]
