The title is simply “GEORGE WASHINGTON: A BIOGRAPHY” by Douglas Southall Freeman and published by Charles Scribner’s Sons in 1948

All volumes have map endpapers except for volume 7 which has end papers relating to Mount Vernon. All bindings are excellent. Volume 1 has a front signature that is worn but holding well. Interiors show some light yellowing of the pages from age but otherwise is fine.

Vol 4 LEADER OF THE REVOLUTION

Vol 5 VICTORY WITH THE HELP OF FRANCE

Vol 6 PATRIOT AND PRESIDENT

Vol 7 FIRST IN PEACE
