Title page reads “BRIEF HISTORY OF THE THIRTIETH GEORGIA REGIMENT” by A. P. Adamson and published by American Historical Books of Fayetteville, Georgia in 1993.

Hardcover is bound in half light gray and half dark gray cloth with the title in gold on the spine. Covers are excellent and in like new condition as is the illustrated dustjacket which is covered in Mylar.

Volume meas. approx. 5.50 x 8.50 inches and runs 161 pages with roster and index.

Binding is excellent and the interior is very clean. Book has several black & white photographs.

The 30th Georgia was organized on October 7, 1861 and served in several different organizations during the war seeing action at Jackson, Chickamauga, Atlanta, Jonesboro, Franklin and Nashville.  [AD] [PH:L]
