Title page reads “FROM SELMA TO APPOMATTOX: THE HISTORY OF THE JEFF DAVIS ARTILLERY” by Lawrence R. Laboda and published by White Maine Publishing Company of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania in 1994.

Hardcover is nicely bound in red cloth with the title in gold on the spine. Covers are excellent and in like new condition as is the illustrated dustjacket which is covered in Mylar.

Volume meas. approx. 6.00 x 9.00 inches and runs 385 pages with roster and index.

Binding is excellent and the interior is super clean. Book has 30 black & white photographs and 27 maps.

The Jeff Davis Artillery was organized in Selma, Alabama in May 1, 1861 and served with the Army of Northern Virginia. They were engaged in many of the battles of that army to include Gaine’s Mill, Gettysburg, Middletown, Amelia Court House, Burkeville and Farmville just to name a few.  [AD] [PH:L]
