White bill with black printing issued by the Bank of Howardsville and dated September 3, 1861. The note is decorated with a numeral “1” at top corners.

Reverse is blank.

Bill is in good used condition with no major tears but it does have several scattered pinholes. Inked bill number is faint but signatures are good.    [ad] [ph:L]
