U.S. MODEL 1855 MUSKET WIPER – RARE .58 CALIBER -- TALL

$75.00 ON HOLD

Quantity Available: 1

Item Code: 30-2256

A much-used appendage for Civil War muskets.  This wiper would be screwed on to the threaded end of a ramrod and used to “pull” bullets or to extract cartridge paper and cleaning patches.  This small item has the appearance of a cork screw.  Measures approximately 1.55” tall.

This is the rarely encountered .58 caliber size.  Most seen on the market today are the .69 caliber wipers.  [jet] [ph:L]
