This is very small powder flask, likely of European manufacture and perhaps made on contract for an American retailer, intended for a pocket revolver or small single shot pistol. The copper body retains its warm brown color. The brass collar and spout have a medium brass patina. The spring has a mix of gray and blue. The top screw shows some blue as well. There are a few light dings to the body and the seam has opened slightly. One of the collar screws is a crude replacement. It looks to have seen some use and the owner desired to keep it serviceable. Given how popular the small pocket pistols were, the small flasks can be surprisingly difficult to find.  [sr] [ph:m]
