Nice original black and white wire photo of veterans gathered in Gettysburg at 50th Anniversary of the battle. The 50th Anniversary commemoration took place on July, 1, 1913 and was the largest gathering of Civil War veterans. Most of the veterans were 70 or older and stayed in the now infamous tent villages that were set-up on various locations of the battlefield.
Veterans in the picture are unknown, and there is an accompanying news clipping glued to the back. 7” X 3 1/2”. [mk] [ph:L]
