Image is mounted on a plain unmarked bright yellow card.

Image is the large boulders forming Devil’s Den giving the viewer and idea of the hellish area the soldiers of both armies fought over.

Contrast and clarity are very good. Paper is also in nice condition while the mount has a small stain on the left edge.

Bottom right corner of the mount has a faded caption of “DEVIL’S DEN, NEAR ROUND TOP.”

Reverse has caption repeated along with a period ink inscription of “236, SOUTHERN VIEW.”  [ad] [PH:L]
