A single brass spur complete with pointy iron rowel. Non-regulation style spur with rounded neck and round boot strap loops. Brass is clean with mellow tone.
Reportedly part of the belongings of Benjamin Rohrer who was surgeon in the 10th Pennsylvania Reserve Infantry (39th PA. Regiment).
Benjamin Rohrer was commissioned on June 26, 1861 as Surgeon of the 39th PA Infantry (10th PA Reserves). Promoted to Lt. Colonel by Brevet on March 13, 1865. [jet] [ph:L]
