Here we have an unengraved fifth corps badge made of silver. It measures .75 inches by .75 inches. The silver is in good condition with only minor tarnish. There is a small bend to one of the arms but this does not detract.

The reverse is in great condition with the t-bar pin firmly in place. Maker’s stamp is clear and present on the reverse and reads “Gotthold / NY.”  This little badge hasn’t seen much use—if any at all.

This is a great example of a pre-made corps badge ready for the soldier and the engraver! [cls]  [ph:L]
