Image is an outdoor view of the large Union supply depot at Stevenson, Alabama. The view shows one warehouse with hundreds of small barrels stacked in front of it. Off to the right is a humongous stack of square crates covered by a tarp bearing the number “8.” Off to the left is a teamster’s wagon with the drive mounted on one of the horses.
Contrast is good and the clarity is passable. Mount and paper have minor surface dirt from age and storage.
Reverse is blank but for a period pencil inscription that reads “U.S. COMMISSARY STEVENSON, ALA.” [ad][PH:L]
