Item Code: P13481

Post-war seated view of an unidentified GAR veteran. Subject is posed with his hands on his lap holding a very thin cane. He wears a dark suit with a GAR Membership badge on his chest. The badge has an officer’s should strap at the bottom of the ribbon showing he is a past Post or National office holder. It appears as though another individual is standing next to him but there is very little of him/her visible except for their hands, at should level of the seated veteran.

Image is clear with good contrast.

The reverse is stamped with a photographer’s mark of H. L. BIXBY of CHELSEA, VT. Reverse has some glue residue.  [ad]
