Image is a full standing view of a young Confederate soldier standing at the position of “attention” with his Enfield musket and fixed bayonet.

The subject wears a dark kepi with gold tinted side buttons, a seven-button light-colored shell jacket with a high collar and dark cloth epaulettes anchored by gilt buttons. The jacket is open to reveal a dark shirt with three gilt buttons and a dark bowtie. He also wears matching light-colored trousers with a dark stripe down the seams. Subject’s cheeks show just the slightest bit of rose tinting.

Contrast and clarity are excellent. Plate is clean.

Image comes in a full case with decorative brass mat and stamped brass frame.  [ad][ph:L]
