Stamped brass corps badge of the Federal Second Corps, Army of the Potomac. Engraved geometric design around the outer edge. Recessed center is painted red to represent the first division of the corps. A brass coiled-spring type pin is attached to the back. This piece wears a nice mellow patina and is typical of a badge that would have been worn by veterans.   [jet]
