Maker Mark (ricasso): “N. Cromwell/ Criterion.” Handsome stag handled hunting knife, 11.75” in length, w/clipped point blade, 7.5 w/1” width at base. Blade exhibits medium gray patina w/slight pitting and light grime along upper edge. Brown crenelated stag grip, secured tightly w/three rivets per side. Nickel silver cross-guard, 2.125” in length, lightly tarnished, minus washer. Else VG, and handsome. Solid and formidable. [JP]
