Made 1872 to 1888. Total quantity made was about 6000. This pistol is a .50 caliber centerfire single shot. Eight inch round barrel. Walnut grip with nice inspector’s cartouche “CRS” inside single line frame. Walnut forestock secured by a single screw. This is a prime example. Frame with excellent makers markings with patent dates. Frame also with letters “P” and “S”. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Excellent+ case hardened finish on receiver and frame. Barrel and trigger retain all original blued finish. Overall a really beautiful and minty example. [jet]
