Shell is fired but in good condition. The surface of the body is mostly smooth with some light to moderate pitting throughout. There is a light coat of rust over the entire surface of the shell. Fuse hole still retains the brass Schenkl percussion fuse.
Sabot detached during firing.
This projectile was meant for use in a 3.67 caliber rifle.
