Compiled by Martha Derby Perry. Little, Brown & Co., Boston:  1906. Ex-lib, w/ eps  stamps [front and rear]: “St. Lukes—Home”. Front eps, owner book stamps: “R.A. Weaver”.  225 pp., ills. In blue glazed cloth, 8.25 x 5.5”, w/gilt cover and spine lettering. Exhibits light wear at the extremities, and some rear cover staining, but the remainder of book is VG and quite handsome. Contains the letters of government contract surgeon John G. Perry, who saw service with the Union 2nd Corps, and circulated among numerous hospitals, beginning with the Chesapeake Hospital at Fortress Monroe. Excellent medical memoir.  [jp]
