The full title of this work is “’DUTY WELL DONE’ THE HISTORY OF EDWARD BAKER’S CALIFORNIA REGIMENT (71ST PENNSYLVANIA INFANTRY)” by Gary G. Lash, published by Butternut and Blue as part of their “Army of the Potomac Series” in 2004.
Book is hardbound with very nice red cloth covers embossed with the title and a regimental badge in gold on the front cover and spine. The dustjacket is in very good condition with a photo of members of the regiment at front center within a red bordered oval.
Volume meas. approx. 8.75 x 11.25 inches and run 623 pages with index. Text contains numerous black and white photographs of members of the regiment as well as scenes on the relating to their service. There are also several maps.
