Bottle stands 7½” high with a 2½” diameter base that tapers to ¾” near the top then blossoms out into a circular ‘blob’ at the spout. Usually had a glass or cork stopper, now missing. Glass busy surface is smooth and free of chipping or scuffing. Few very light thin scratches overall with small air bubbles visible in the glass. Sharply embossed on the side with “H. BATTERMANN / 1861 / BROOKLYN / N. Y.” in addition to a large (1½” high) letter “B” on the opposite side. Lightly recessed pontil. Excellent condition.
