Three pieces come in this group. Two different style Nessler bullets. One with a teat base as used by the Europeans in the Crimean War and the other with a flat bottom and one groove as made for the State of North Carolina during the Civil War by above named institution. During the war the North Carolina Institute for the Deaf, Dumb and Blind produced over one and a half million rounds for the state. Also with the bullets comes a nice original example of a State of North Carolina $1 bill. Bill is signed and numbered and dated October 3, 1861. In small print it says that the bill was printed by the North Carolina Institute for the Deaf, Dumb and Blind. Comes in a riker box ready for display.
