Later war bond issued from the Confederate Capital at Richmond, Virginia. The bond is dated in print February 17, 1864 and is hand numbered 4933, second series. The center design is an image of the Great Seal of the Confederacy with battle flags in the background. Lithograph was done by J. Archer of Richmond. Printed by Evans & Cogswell of Columbia, South Carolina.

At the bottom are 59 coupons remaining out of the original 60. The first was redeemable July 1, 1867 and the last on January 1, 1894. Bond is in good condition with a few faint creases. Edges have chipping and soiling. Yellowing has occurred from age. All ink inscriptions are readable.  [sl]
