[Polina Jane] Sisk in the amount of twenty dollars for the family of G. (Gideon) Sisk, a soldier in the 63rd Virginia Regiment. Signed by M. S. Steffy, Comr. 6th District.
Gideon enlisted on 5/15/62 at Wytheville as a Private. Date and method of discharge not given. Listed as AWOL on 8/24/63 at Saltville, VA. [ld] [ph:L]
