Front cover features entertaining full page depiction of “Rustic Courtship”.  Interior illustrations include a full page depiction of General   Grant’s staff at the close of the war;  also a story of Gettysburg 4th of July, which saw the laying of the cornerstone of the monument for the national soldier’s cemetery, w/cemetery map. Also a pair of intriguing illustrations of soldier playing “football” and “Chuck-a-luck in Camp.
