Blade measures 14 5/8” x 1 5/16” and may be from an English made bayonet. Socket measures just under 3” with a crudely cut mortise. The neck joins the socket with a shank attachment shield with offset giving it an unusual look. Dark smooth patina. Overall length 18 ¼”.  [ss]
