Classic rough-hewn rebel Bowie. Measures 20.5” in total length. Clipped point blade measures 16.5 in length, 1.5” in width at the base. Exhibit dark patina, with moderate pitting. Worn sheath/scabbard washer present. D-guard has finial end and is ornamented with rough cross marking. Wooden handle is round and chipped. Hilt assembly and tang pommel rivet are tight. Solid specimen of the characteristic Confederate Bowie. Definitely a deadly looking display piece.
