This is a WWII US Navy MK2 Knife with its sheath. The sheath is in near perfect condition with just minor fraying of the fabric. The handle of the knife, made of wood, is smooth with few imperfections and no splinters. There are a few chips missing around the base of the handle. The tang is visible where it connects with the base to hold the handle in place. The handle measures about 5 inches long and 1.5 inches wide. The blade measures about 7 inches long and is in near perfect condition with an even dark patina and no rust. [mk]
