Overall length is 11.50 inches. Blade has clipped point and is marked “U.S. Navy” on one side and “RH PAL 37” on the other side. True edge is good with no nicks. Blade is semi-bright with moderate mottling. Both sides of the blade have some very light pitting near the point. Iron counterguard wiggles some. There is a strip of red leather above the counterguard and another strip just below the pommel cap. The number “13” is carved into the grip. Grip shows some wear from use and age. Leather scabbard is marked “USN”. It is solid and complete but exhibits heavy wear.
