Blade Etchings: Only a small amount of the light leaf design remains. Blade is very nice with smooth semi-bright finish.
Grip: Only traces of the leather remain and one strand of wire.
Scabbard: None.
Condition, on a scale of 1 – 10: Grip - 2; Blade – 7
Tip of brass hilt is inspected “ORD. / HKC” for mason Henry Knox Craig, who inspected swords 1835-1837. A small “7” is stamped on the solid backstrap.
