Brass guard is in standard configuration with nice patina to guard, pommel and knucklebow. Sharkskin grip and wire are in very good condition. Blade is gray but etch is deep and strong. Obverse blade has kings head / W.H Horstmann & Sons Philadelphia / stand of arms - foliate / stand of arms / eagle with ribbon - foliate / foliate. Reverse etch is fan foliate / stand of arms - union shield - foliate / US / stand of arms - foliate. Leather scabbard is sound with no issues as are the brass mounts and drag.
