WORLD WAR TWO GERMAN MAUSER byf-43 P.38 WITH HOLSTER

$1,595.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 2022-1837

This has standard “byf/43” markings with “[eagle]/135 proofs and matching 3325 numbers. The “byf” manufacturer’s code indicates this 9mm Pistole 1938 was made by Mauser-Werke AG, Oberndorf am Nekar.  The metal retains about 90 percent original blue with some rubbing to the right frame and on the top and excellent grips. All markings are sharp.

This comes with its original magazine and hard-shell holster. The holster has a nice finish and shows just some flexing the leather tab. Belt loops are in place and secure. The reverse is dated 1943 in the center and bears the P.38 designating stamp at right.

The P.38 was the standard pistol issued by the German army in WW2. This is a very nice example in fine condition.  [sr] [ph:L/m]
