Shotgun meas. approx. 47.00 inches in overall length. The side by side Damascus barrels are approx.31.00 inches long. Both barrels meas. approx.14 gauge. Barrels are connected by a recessed strip with a bead sight at center near the muzzle. Barrel surfaces are turning a plumb brown. The bore on both barrels are bright. There are no visible markings. Barrels have a very long tang which is decorated with flowing lines and swirls along its length.

Both locks are flush and in an elongated teardrop shape. The faces of each are engraved with a scroll pattern. Each hammer has a beveled body with a flowing scroll decoration. Each also has a long elegant spur with dolphin heads complete with eyes and fish scale engraving. Hammer and lock screws are engraved with fine lines. Hammers hold at half and full-cock and fall properly when trigger is squeezed.

The lower receiver has a decoration of scrolls similar to the locks. The iron triggerguard is wide and heart shaped and is engraved with a decoration similar to the locks and receiver. Mounted on the stock behind the triggerguard is a scrolled finger rest that looks to be made out of horn.

Walnut stock has a checkered wrist, a low comb and cheek rest. Mounted in the bottom of the butt is a small sling swivel while its mate is mounted on the underside of the barrels and is also of a small size. Iron buttplate is rather plain with only a decorated tang.

Barrels break open by actuating a lever below the receiver.  [ad]
