These items come displayed in a black riker box with a copy of the original paper label that marked the container the relics were originally in. The label reads “FOUND BY ELWOOD CULLISON VALLEY OF DEATH JULY 25-41.”
The box includes:
1.) Fired .69 musket ball
2.) Fired US case shot
3.) Two dropped .54 Minie balls
4.) Two fired .58 Minie balls
5.) Williams Cleaner Type III with no plunger
6.) Model 1839 oval US cartridge box plate with a light greenish tint over a dark patina on the face. The edge has one small chip at bottom center. The reverse has approx. 100% of the lead fill but no hooks.
As the label says these items were found by the late Elwood Cullison and passed by him to the Rosensteel Family collection of Gettysburg artifacts, where they remained until released.
