Vintage brick was made at the Gettysburg brickyard. “GETTYSBURG” is stamped on the top. The brickyard located by Coster Avenue saw lots of action on the first day of the battle. In the years following the battle, bricks such as this were made and sold as souvenirs to veterans and visitors.

Brick measures 2 ½” high by 8 ¼” wide. [sl]
