This vintage Gettysburg souvenir is one of the earliest and best conditioned ones that we have seen. Clay canteen shows a very clear image of Jennie Wade. Reverse is stamped, “CLAY FROM GETTYSBURG BATTLEFIELD”. Original cord is present and unbroken.
Canteen measures 1 ¼” in diameter. No chips or cracks in the clay. [sl]
