Excavated “eagle” button in good condition. Coat size with shank. Brown patina overall with a couple of small green spots of verdigris on face. Scoville backmark. Recovered from the Sherfy Farm property.

From the collection of Ron Miller, brother of noted Gettysburg relic hunter Ed Miller. Ron was born in Gettysburg and was a teacher by profession. He walked and hunted the surrounding farm fields his entire life in search of relics. He was a member of the Adams County Historical Society and the Lincoln Fellowship of Pennsylvania.  [jet] [ph:L]
