Excavated “civilian” jacket button that could have seen US or CS use. Button is in good condition. Coat size (22mm) with straight shank. Gilted cross-hatch pattern on face. “W.H. JONES & CO. / SUPERFINE” backmark. Recovered from Little Round Top.

From the collection of Ron Miller, brother of noted Gettysburg relic hunter Ed Miller. Ron was born in Gettysburg and was a teacher by profession. He walked and hunted the surrounding farm fields his entire life in search of relics. He was a member of the Adams County Historical Society and the Lincoln Fellowship of Pennsylvania. [jet]  [ph:L]
