Super nice Whale Oil Lantern c.1851-60. Stands 15” tall. Bottom of oil reservoir stamped “H. & J. SANGSTERS PATENT 1851.” Top chimney has punched stars and diamonds, bottom has stars. Original clear globe. Even the wick is in place. Looped tin handle at top. Wire cage around globe. Really a nice example. Great for a camp site display or living history.
