Item is made of two adjustable leather straps. Each meas. approx. 2.00 inches wide x 16 inches long. They are connected by an 18.00 inch length of chain. Each leather strap goes around a horse’s leg and is held closed by an interlocking metal latch. One of the leather straps is marked lightly “ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL” and “K 83” while the other is marked with inspector’s initials, “K 83” and “74 I.” Item is in used but good condition.
