Non-dug eagle breast plate for the shoulder belt of the cartridge box. This is the smaller diameter (~2.25”) “Burnside” plate often associated with “VMM” plates. Beautiful brass face. Full lead on reverse and both iron loops are present.
This plate has a nice, even semi-bright patina. The detail on the eagle is very good. Edge of plate is slightly wavy. [sm]
