Stamped brass oval plate with lead filled back. The face has moderate surface wear in the form of numerous small scratches as well as some spots of oxidation. The top of the plate has a flattened edge. Looks as though it may have been stepped on.
Reverse has 100% of the lead fill and both “puppy paw “style posts mounted behind the letter “S” making this a Dragoon style plate. Both posts and the tongue are in good condition. Lead surface has some light oxidation. [AD] [ph:L]
