This tin drum canteen is complete with all three sling keepers and spout. Each side has a slightly raised center and a protruding rim. There is a slight dent in one side.
The cloth cover is a heavy brown cloth with a coarse weave that is in poor condition. One side is torn in two places while the other is only about 40% complete and torn along the edge. The sling is woven canvas and looks to be a replacement.
The exposed surfaces of the canteen have some light surface rust and light discoloration.
