Canteen has a rich, dark patina and is stamped in the center with the initials, “J.G.”. Measures 7” in diameter x 2 ¾” thick. Three leather sling keepers are present. Iron rivets hold sling keepers and overlapping rim in place. Rim has slightly separated from sides at places. Spout is missing. Some light surface scratches are present. [sm]
