Stamped brass insignia consisting of a shield with horizontal and vertical stripes with a Corinthian helmet and sword at center. Atop the shield is a spread-winged eagle with a riband that reads “DUTY – HONOR – COUNTRY - WEST POINT – MDCCCII – USMA.”
Reverse has screw and nut fastener.
