Box is in good used condition.
Outer flap has a latch tab that is an integral part of the flap. Leather surface shows some wear from use, storage and age. Latch tab is split.
Inner flap is good but shows some crazing. Both ears are intact.
The interior of the box is missing the lamb’s wool and nipple pick but several caps are present.
The body of the box is in nice condition with the brass pear-shaped finial present at bottom however, the left edge of the reverse has a small wear hole.
Reverse has both well-worn belt loops which are attached only by stitching.
