Nice leather M1909 holster for the M1917 Smith & Wesson .45 caliber revolver.

Brown leather construction. The holster “pocket” measures 9 ¼” along its front edge. The flap and belt loop pieces sewn and riveted to the back. One popped rivet. The closing tab is an extension of the flap. The finial hole is unbroken. The associated brass finial also remains tightly attached. Embossed “US” within an oval appears of the face.

Belt loop is approximately 3 ½” wide and is attached by three rivets and a line of stitching. A leather plug closes the end of the holster and features a brass ring. Back of belt flap stamped "G&K / 1918 / A.G."

Leather shows light wear and scuffing, otherwise very good condition.  [jet]
