Circa 1850s/60s. Heavy black holster, with flap & finial, measuring 10.5 x 12.5”, with open tip 1.5” in diameter. Leather is very good, with light cracking & some flaking, especially on the reverse. Belt loop has been slit .75” upward to accommodate wider belt, but still quite solid. Overall VG & a good collectible. Dragoon holsters are scarce.
